Into the Breach, the sublime turn-based Mech vs. Kaiju strategy game from Subset Games, is getting a beefy Advanced Edition for all platforms on July 19.
Into The Breach Advanced Edition is a free upgrade for all existing owners on Switch and PC, introducing new squads, pilots, weapons, enemies, bosses, missions, and brand new music. There’s even a new difficulty mode for those masochist strategists out there.
The other big news is that Into the Breach Advanced Edition will be coming to iOS and Android for the first time, but not via the relevant app stores. Netflix is offering the lauded strategy game as part of their gaming offering, for all subscribers.
As someone who is not the biggest fan of strategy games (I’m not big brain enough, okay!), I dumped over twenty hours into the game over the past four years. Just when I thought I finally got out, I guess I now have a reason to go back and see what new threats the Vek will throw my way.
