Journey of a Roach announced: post-apocalyptic bugs inbound

There are plenty of reasons to dislike cockroaches. They are filthy and creepy creatures, but people also hate cockroaches because they can be extremely difficult to get rid of. Cockroaches do survive everything, even a nuclear war, and this is what  Daedalic Entertainment’s upcoming 3D point-and click adventure Journey of a Roach will be about.

Journey of a Roach is described as ‘a humorous comic style adventure game’ in which players will play as a giant roach. Yum! They’ll follow Roach Jim and his sidekick Bud as they make their way to the earth’s surface, through an old, post apocalyptic bunker.

Now, because Jim and Bud are chill roaches, they’ll have some unique features, such as  the ability to crawl up walls, on ceilings, and on objects but there will be no written or spoken dialogues in Journey of a Roach. That’s not a surprise really… or is it? Instead the bugs will be using their ‘own easily understandable signal language’ according to the developers.

Journey of a Roach is expected to come crawling into Windows and OS X this November, but before the roaches take over the world, you can take a look at a selection of the latest screenshots.
